The fine imposed on Public Works Department and Forest Department should actually be recovered from CM Kejriwal - Virendra Sachdeva


New Delhi January 16: Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva has said that there are many flaws in the construction of illegal bungalow done in 6 Flag Staff. Not only the approval of Delhi Municipal Corporation and Delhi Urban Art Commission was not taken in its construction but also the construction was not done. Proper tender process was also not adopted.

Apart from this, environmental rules were also violated while carrying out illegal construction. Trees were cut without proper clearance by the forest department and heavy dust and other pollution was also noted.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva has said that the National Green Tribunal had initiated an investigation into the violation of norms including felling of trees etc. without proper approval and had issued notice to the PWD and Forest Department to file a reply, but CM Arvind Kejriwal has now directed the officials to But they are pressurizing not to file the reply.

As a result NGT Today has imposed a fine of Rs 15000 on the Public Works Department. Apart from this, a fine of Rs 10,000 will be imposed on the Forest Department for non-compliance of the notice to file a detailed reply today.

Delhi BJP President has said that this fine has been imposed as a result of CM Kejriwal's dirty tactics and pressure on officials, hence the fine imposed on PWD and Forest Department should actually be recovered from CM Kejriwal himself.
