Shri Virendra Sachdeva

The current President of Delhi BJP, Shri Virendra Sachdeva Ji was born on 12 January 1968 in a Punjabi Khatri family of Delhi. Virendra Ji has been educated from Delhi University, along with this he has also done a diploma in Shravananthapuram and BHU. Sachdeva Ji, who has been associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party for the last 35 years, has travelled  his journey from booth to state president.

Virendra Sachdeva Ji was the President of Chandni Chowk district between 2007-2009, after which he got the responsibility of the post of minister in Delhi State BJP (2009-2012), from 2012 to 2014 he was the training head of Delhi BJP and was also a member of national BJP training team. From 2014 to 2017, he performed the responsibility of the post of President of Bharatiya Janata Party Mayur Vihar District with great hard work and dedication.

Before being appointed as the President of Delhi BJP, Sachdeva ji has also served as the Vice President in the state from 2020 to 2023. In 2017, he was appointed a member of the Livelihood and Development Committee, in which he collected information related to the reporting and implementation of the Livelihood Department of various states along with Rajya Sabha MP Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe ji.

Virendra Sachdeva ji has been continuously participating in social work apart from politics, in this series he keeps working for the help and entertainment of Special Children (Special Children). Virendra Sachdeva ji is very fond of sports, he is currently holding the post of General Secretary of the Archery Association of India and Vice President of Delhi Olympic Association.

Shri Sachdeva ji is also a member of the Delhi unit of BCCI (BCCI), DDCA (DDCA) and Press Club of India. He has earlier been an Associate Executive Member of the Indian Olympic Association, General Secretary and Treasurer of the Archery Association of India, President of Delhi Archery Association.

Sachdeva ji has represented India as an administrator of the Archery Team in the 2016 Rio Olympics, 2020 Tokyo Olympics, 2014 and 2018 Asian Games.
